When a woman starts a company and looks around the startup scene, at first glance they feel like they are different than the people around them and often don’t feel as welcome as their male counterparts. As per a recent data by First Round Capitals, female founders perform 63% better than their male counterparts. We wish to celebrate this spirit of women entrepreneurial spirit.
Our goal is to showcase those Investors, Founders, and Supporters in the community that are helping women owned businesses, are investing in female founders, and are starting companies themselves.
The first way we are realizing this goal is to host an event where investors present introduce companies they have funded to pitch their successes to the community. We will also have a panel discussion between investors and female Founders.
